I had to convince people today that dogs can also have real relationships, and even be monogamous.  Has no one else ever witnessed a dog-couple?  They’re amazingly loyal.  Here in Uruguay I met a dogcouple where the male dog would save food for the girl dog until the owners left, then call her over so she could eat.  They have puppies now and the owners have accepted the mama as their own dog too.
